IRMA will use CAT 2015 / XAT 2016 scores for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management 2016 - 18 (PRM 2016-18) and Fellow Programme in Rural Management 2016 (FPRM 2016).
Application forms (online / hard copy) for IRMA admissions will be available from October 01, 2015 onwards.
All applicants for IRMA Admissions have to additionally appear for “Issues of Social Concern” test.
IIMs and XLRI have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme of IRMA.

Programme in Rural Management(PRM)
IRMA's Programme in Rural Management prepares talented young managers to assume challenge-filled responsibilities in rural cooperatives and development organisations. This two-year residential programme leading to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) has been recognised as equivalent to a Master's degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The participants of this programme are highly valued in local, national and international cooperatives, NGOs, development organisations, and funding agencies. All participants are suitably placed in different organisations through our Campus Placement programme.
Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM)
The FPRM is a doctoral programme of minimum three years and maximum seven years duration. It is meant for students and professionals seeking careers in Research, Teaching and specialised knowledge-based positions in Rural Management Institutions.
The overall goals of the programme are to:
A strong coursework and doctoral thesis are the two major components of the programme. As a corollary, the Programme has a requirement of at least 3 years’ residency in the Campus. After completion of coursework every participant has to pass the comprehensive qualifying examination prior to embarking on thesis research. Additionally, every participant has to associate herself/ himself as a Teaching, or Research, or Editorial Assistant for a minimum duration.

The candidates interested in the PRM course, should have completed their graduation from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years(10 plus 2 plus 4) of education and secured aggregate 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP) or they have completed an equivalent GPA from any recognised institution/university.
Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM)
The candidates interested in the FPRM course, should have done PGDRM from IRMA along with one year of work experience in post diploma; post graduation in any discipline from a recognised institution or university along with 50 per cent of aggregate marks at PG level and 50 percent of marks at graduation level.
The candidates interested in the PRM course, should have completed their graduation from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years(10 plus 2 plus 4) of education and secured aggregate 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP) or they have completed an equivalent GPA from any recognised institution/university.

Selection Procedure for Indian Nationals (PRM 2015 - 2017):
Admissions Test: All Indian applicants will appear for the CAT 2014 and IRMA's test (online) on "Issues of Social Concern" (scheduled on January 25, 2015). The scores will be combined in the selection process.
PRM participants are selected on the basis of the Admissions Test, Group Activity, and Personal Interview.
It is compulsory for applicants to appear for CAT 2014 and "Issues of Social Concern (ISC)" of IRMA. The combined score will be considered for the selection process of PRM 2015 - 17. There will be separate cut offs for CAT 2014 score, ISC score and total score.
Selection Procedure for Overseas Applicants (PRM 2015 - 2017):
Applicants from overseas must enclose GMAT or GRE test score (taken on or after July 01, 2010) to be considered for the selection process of PRM 2015-17.
Applicants from overseas will be selected on the basis of their GMAT or GRE test score and Telephonic Personal Interview.
Selection Procedure of Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM 2015):
Admissions Test: All Indian applicants will appear for the CAT 2014 and IRMA's test (online) on "Issues of Social Concern" (scheduled on January 25, 2015). The scores will be combined in the selection process.
FPRM participants are selected on the basis of the Admissions Test, Interview, and Presentation of an Essay.
Applicants with PGDRM qualification from IRMA and applicants with a valid score of UGC JRF in relevant disciplines (management, economics, social work, sociology, psychology, commerce, etc.) are exempted from taking the admissions test and will be directly called for the interview.
UGC JRF is mandatory, only NET is not sufficient.
